Date and time quick filter

A control should be added (e.g. a combobox) which would allow to quickly filter notes by their age: today, yesterday, 7 days ago, 30 days ago, etc.

This request is very similar to Search for date ranges. Should they be merged?

They are similar, but not quite. This one is about introducing a new control, whereas that one suggest to add a "hidden" feature - extended date-related query syntax. Actually both could be implemented.

I would like to be able to easily express something like "+7" giving me all notes which have date from now within the next seven days.
