Shortcut to cycle through open editor windows

Thomas Lohrum 12 years ago updated by Alex Jenter 7 years ago 5
I suggest to add "ctrl+shift+tab" (use shift-combinations for tasks that affect all cn windows) to rotate between all open cintanotes editor-windows. This would really be an easy way to select a desired cn window. Using windows Alt+Tab is just a pain, because it lists all windows. Having the editor-windows filtered using an own shortcut should be a tremendous help, for it can be a tedious task to select a specific window right now. I think the search window itself should not be included for it can be activated any time using the global shortcut. Thus the feature should select editor-windows only. However there is one minor issue with this: First the user must activate a cn window to allow switching for ctrl+shift+tab can not be a global hotkey. Thus i suggest to allow start rotating from the main search window. Now as a user i first open cn using the global shortcut and can then easily rotate between the editor windows.
