Cinta don't remember which tag tree branches were expanded and which were collapsed before last closing. It is very annoying...

maybe it will be more useful, if Cinta remember it as initial state of tree... and we can return to it any time and many times, not only one time after closing.
May be... If talking about state, very nice example of using states is 3Ds MAX scene state manager. When using it, You can save and later restore any number of states (each state can include lots of settings).
I think Your idea is great, but it would be better if more than one state to be available to store/restore - Tree State Manager

CintaNotes allows you to edit tag properties to configure if the tag should be expanded by default (right click on a tag -> Properties -> Expanded by default).

Ir is it not enough?
