"Move to section" as submenu instead of separate window

jww 11 years ago updated by Alex Jenter 11 years ago 0
Less mouse clicks -> faster.
Well, those who use keyboard shortcut will be disappointed.... I don't know, maybe should be submenu AND separate window for mouse/keyboard users, but it's a bit weird... Maybe there should be listbox instead of drop-down list, so I could just double-click there.

All I want to say it's takes too many clicks to do such simple operation.

Highlight repeating search words not only in preview mode

Arseniy (CN Support Team) 11 years ago updated 11 years ago 0
Reproduce:
1) search for some words that are reapeating along one note
2) all words are highlighted in preview mode but after note is opened, only the first instance is highlighted

This makes very difficult searching in quite big notes that have repeating words.

Add state field to support GTD-like Todo features

Thomas Lohrum 11 years ago updated by Alex Jenter 8 years ago 7

State-field values should be:

0=regular note
1=Next Action
2=Action/Open
3=Waiting For
4=On Hold
5=Done/Completed
6=Someday/Maybe
7=Out-dated/Obsolete

The idea is a more general solution compared to a plain done=true/false value.

Use Ctrl+W to close editor

jerome shih 11 years ago updated by Shawn 5 years ago 4

Now, it uses alt+F4 to close editor.  However, alt+F4 is usually used to close the  whole program. I suggest fast key for closing editor should be customized or use Ctrl+W

Paste note with bind variables

mrpy 11 years ago updated by Alex Jenter 11 years ago 0
Introduce bind variables to clips being pasted using CTRL+ENTER.
I.e. select * from &tab where a='&sth' will open a popup asking for string values of 'tab' and 'sth' with [OK] button. Upon pressing OK variables are substituted with provided values, pasting replaced text.
