Exact search should match parts of tag names
Now "Anywhere" and "Tags" search modes match only whole tag names. However many times it is necessary to find tags by only part of their name.

Does your request also cover this situation?:
Note tags: "test"
Note title: "this is new"
Note text: "something here"
If you now enter the search phrases 'test new' in the search box you don't get a match
(if the word test is not included in the title or text of the node).
This is a problem for every note that does not contain its tags also in the title and/or text > so my vote for this feature.

No, this is something different. It means that when exact search is on,
writing "ta" would be enough to display, say, notes having one of the tags "task", "talk", and "notable".
If you want a mixed tag-text search, please write a separate request for that! Thanks
