Shortcut to edit focused note while minimizing the main window

Alex Jenter il y a 13 ans mis à jour il y a 10 ans 10
Many times i search for one single note. I find and open it. Now it takes three "Esc" to close all cintanotes windows. Over time this is just to many unnecessary klicks. I suggest to introduce "Ctrl+Enter" or F2 for opening a note window. The note window should be opened (as with normal Enter) and the search windows should be auto-closed (new functionality). Now it takes one single ESC to close the note-window when finished editing.

In case Alt+Enter is not used yet, i suggest this as the shortcut to open the edit window and close the main window. Imo that key is easy to use.
It's used for Note Properties now ;) But Shift+Enter is not much worse IMO ;)

Similar frustration even today: Whenever I select some text to sent to my designated CTN Inbox, Cintanotes springs up from the System Tray. I do not want this. I would like to send the text, then rename, tag etc later. Any chance of changing this annoying (to me) action? - I know I can do ALT+TAB and press ESC but. . . .
That's easy: just activate Silent Clipping mode in Options/Clipping
Hi, I guess I also mean those common instances when I open a note to work on it extensively, yet the main window is still there hovering around and must be minimized.
There's also an option for that, albeit it is not accessible from the UI.
Edit the cintanotes.settings file (make sure you do this while CN is not running), and set app.mainframe.minimizeonenter to 1.

Actually I don't think this option is documented, so no need for self-punishment :)
