Saving option, Using other database server for notes instead of sqlite

Our environment is offline and we can't use network-drive, shared-folder and so on for security issues.

However we want co-work with documentation.

In this case, Sqlite(local databse) is not suitable.

Can we use other database server like my-sql instead of sqllite to save notes and share it?

Check-in , out functions are also very need... please..
