Regular expression support in Rules

yes, I find this useful.
I would also like to create rules to move notes based on an 'expiry date tag', ie tag with exp/30.12.2012 and make rule to move the note by comparing todays date with the tag date 30.12.2012.
This would require to make available for the regular expression a 'todate'-function
