could you please do the following:
- Activate the Help/Debug/Debug Log option and let CN restart
- Try to synchronize via F12, wait for it to hang
- Close CN
- After that CN will produce the file named "log.1.txt", please send it to me to support@cintanotes.com.
 (The file will be located either near cintanotes.exe, or in %appdata%/CintaNotes)

It's hardly possible that CN will migrate from SQLite to plain-text files, however it is very possible that it will be able to sync the database with a folder with TXT files, similar to Simplenote sync.
