In this case cintanotes.exe will hang around in memory, which is not very good.. I'm always frustrated when I want to restart Firefox and it keeps telling "Firefox is already running, but not responding.."

Using tags to help with resolving conflicts

sorry that I've overlooked this issue is the past. Is it still actual to you?

Actually we've improved import in version 2.0 so that CN can now recognize  and solve many types of conflicts.

Also now you can specify tags to add to imported notes in the Import dialog.

Simplenote auth fails because of incorrect base64 encoding

Fixed in 2.0.4.

You need to reenter password in the sync properties dialog.
