While you can use ESC, CTRL+W is standard Windows behavior so should be supported as well. This would make it more consistent with other Windows apps

this is absolutely critical for me. I hate having to drop text into Notepad++ first, then copy it again and paste it into CN in order to strip out the formatting and simultaneously preserve the raw HTML
