CintaNotes is a Windows application for fast and convenient note taking. It can clip text from any application on a hot key, has a powerful tagging system and effective full-text search capability.

For those of us who like having CintaNotes in the system tray, it would be a great improvement to provide 1-click access to recently used notes directly from the system tray icon's context menu (i.e. an MRU list).

This saves not only a click, but more importantly, the context switching that happens when you open a new window and navigate its list to find the note you want to see. Ideally, if you select a note from the system tray menu, only the note would have to be opened and not the main program window.

Suggestion: the context menu notes list could show the top items from whatever sorting regime is currently in place on the main window's notes list.

If you double-click on (for example) max_records, then the behaviour is now:

1. "max" is selected text OR

2. "_" is selected text   OR

3. "records" is selected text.

The people who use "underscore" the most are programmers, and they wish that when you double-click on "max_records", that the behaviour would be always:

1. "max_records" is selected text

Is it possible to change this please?

Thank you in advance.

A very thorough motivation you can find also in following article: http://blog.jonschneider.com/2008/07/don-treat-underscore-as-word-separator.html

This one is hard to formulate... trying to get some new (hopefully useful) ideas in.

Snag.gy (and others) offer free image hosting (time limited) with related url.

Pasting a link to hosted image to Cintanotes is no problem.

What would be fun is to have an integrated image service via Cintanotes for a basic free, premium and perhaps (even better) a one-time fee (just like the app).

Of course, Cintanotes would have to incorporate screenshot capabilities.

Makes sense?

that idea come from Google Keep Chrome Extension, all the clips from the same link will share/come into one note, for easier manage and duplicating clip proof.

DRON1917 from ru-board suggests:

"Now double-click on a tag is taken for expanding and collapsing hierarchic tags. However it would be more convenient to use this for clearing the search field."
