That sounds fine be me.
As we keep our breath for long awaited "d" day... CN portable version works well on Dropbox.
That's where i keep my regular data file for desktop app.
It could be useful to make entries in forum threads or blogs and word processors.
Simplenote works with iPod Touch too (an implicit function right?).

Could see CN work together with an app like Screenshot Captor but hosting image service it uses has no long-term guarantee.
