Pasting from MS OneNote into note editor not working

ChrisCN il y a 13 ans mis à jour par Alex Jenter il y a 13 ans 6
In some cases CN can not paste the content of the clipboard into the editor window. I can paste the same content into the title box BUT NOT into the note part of the editor window. I am using formatted text in CN and I assume the editor for rich text has a problem !?

I can reproduce this bug with Microsofts OneNote. At the moment it is not possible to paste a text from OneNote into CN.
I took a look into the clipboard content and it contains at least also a plain-text, a unicode and html version of the text.

Please specify the CN version.
I am using version 1.5.7 (and the problem also existed in 1.5.6).
Do you have this problem only with OneNote? Can you paste text from Word, Excel?
Word and Outlook are working.

------------
I took a deeper look at the clipboard content:
(I noticed that there is no 'rich text format' in the case of OneNote!?)

OneNote provides the following content:

  • DataObject
  • OneNote 2007 Internal
  • HTML Format
  • Unicode Text
  • Text
  • Enhanced Metafile
  • DIB
  • Ole Private Data
  • LOCALE
  • OEM TEXT
  • METAFILE PICTURE
  • BITMAP
  • MAX

A clipboard content from Outlook is a little bit different:

(= entry exists in both cases, + this entry only exists in Outlook/Word, - this entry only exist in OneNote)

= DataObject
- OneNote 2007 Internal
- Object Descriptor
+ Rich Text Format
= HTML Format
= Unicode Text
= Text
= Enhanced Metafile
+ Embed Source
+ Native
+ OwnerLink
- DIB
= Ole Private Data
= LOCALE
= OEM TEXT
= METAFILE PICTURE
- BITMAP
- MAX
I think I just made an important finding:
If I use the global hotkey to generate a new note out of a selected text in onenote all works perfect (except that the formatting is lost).
If I go into Onenote and copy the selected text (ctrl+c) and then change to an existing note in CN and try to paste the text (ctrl+v) -> nothing happens.

Hope this helps to find the reason.

Thanks, Chris! I'll investigate the issue.
