Thomas is right - you can assign the URL manually. In the past CN recognized even 'cintanotes.com' as the URL, but this lead to a lot of problems. Since 'www' is nowadays seen as a rudiment, I see no compelling reason to implement this asap. But of course all will depend on number of votes!

Could you please do the following:
1) Run CintaNotes and activate "Help/Debug/Debug Logging"
2) Try to repeat the problem
3) This will produce the file named "log.N.txt", where N is some number. The file
will be located either in CN folder, or in %APPDATA%\CintaNotes. Please pick a file
with maximum number and send it to support@cintanotes.com
(Please note that this file may contain some of your private data, such as tag
names (but no passwords). You may want to edit the file and remove this data
first.)

Still would feel a bit half-baked to me, sorry :) but maybe it's just me..
It is possible, but it is very hard and will require a lot of resources. We should really think if it will pay off.
As you see there are plenty of votes for this one, so we're seriously thinking about implementing this!
