Since 1.4 it is possible via adding the "tagsedit.autocomplete.acceptonspace = 1" parameter to the cintanotes.settings file.

Since 1.4 both spacebar and left mouse click "pin" note so that normal navigation keys work on note text instead of note list. So Spacebar + End would go to the end of the note's text etc.
