This is a valid suggestion, but currently the tags are global in CN.

Note that there's an easy workaround:

1) Select this tag on the tag sidebar

2) Press Ctrl+A to select all notes with this tag

3) Middle click on this tag on the tag sidebar to remove it from the notes
