Make tags clickable
Allow the user to click tags in the note viewer and this should have the same effect as clicking the tag in the sidebar.

Search for date ranges
Implement the option to search for dates less than or greater than a given date - that way I can search for stuff that's been outstanding for ages - or even between 2 dates. This could possibly be invoked by using the = < and > symbols when searching so, for example to search for everything before 1st May, I'd type in <01/05/2009

Add simple status flag icon
I use this wonderfull :D program as a tasklist. I think it would be an improvement if there was a coloured status flag in the header of each note. Something like the flags used by Outlook. You can then easily mark a note and so indicate whether it is ready or not.
I use tags to do this now, but with flags it works faster, only using the mouse.

Different view modes: Minimal, Compact, Normal
The View menu should enable to quickly switch between note view modes:
Minimal - only titles
Compact - only titles and 2 lines of text
Normal - as set in Note Appearance dialog
