Simplenote sync is unfortunately available only in the paid version. However, there are some ways to get a good discount :)

with Dropbox you only get your notes from one PC to another. There are no native CN clients under Mac or Android, so in this case you'll have to go with Simplenote.

At the moment there is no native CN app for iPad, but there are a couple of Simplenote clients, using which you could access and edit your notes on iPad. However, not all CN functionality is supported in Simplenote (most notably sections and note linking).

Generally CintaNotes is supported only on Windows.

Work under Wine is not supported.
