Ability to define inserted date format
Example: now date is inserted using local settings (for me as 08.12.2016), would be nice if I could have an option to use another format, like 2016-12-08, without modifying system settings.

Add ability to search within all link URLs
Now CN doesn't look into link URLs that are part of note text. Sometimes it is necessary however.

Formatting notes: horizontal rule
It would be nice to be able to insert a horizontal rule (line) to separate sections in a note (much like the hr tag in html).

Limit length of title in clipped notes
I use CintaNotes to store a large collection of quotes. I usually create the notes by clipping from other sources, and a quote is typically a paragraph of text. The option to use "first line" as title is great, but in this case the whole paragraph becomes the title. This is a bit excessive, and becomes inconvenient in exported data.
Suggestion: add an option to limit the length of title taken from clipped text. Ideally to be specified as a number of words (default: 10 or so) rather than characters, to avoid cutting words in half.

Ability to create links to paragraphs within notes
SAM writes:
"My feature request is that users can insert a bookmark onto text in a CintaNotes note, leave it named that text or re-name it (shorter), and then insert a link to it elsewhere in my CintaNotes such as a the top of the note AND in remarks.
I often find in my research that I want to point to a particular part or several parts of a captured text in CintaNotes elsewhere inside that CintaNote - such as at the top of a note where I often want to summarize what is in the note and place a mini table of contents there so I can get to key parts in a long Note - and also place a link to those key part(s) in the *remarks* of the CintaNote to point to what is most important to me, when I return to use the note later. "

Indenting/outdenting a paragraph from any caret position
Michael Weiner requests:
"In bulleted list, CTRL-TAB does not work unless cursor is at home
position, or multiple lines are highlighted. I recommend making
indents and outdents work from any cursor position on the line.
Allow the user to define which keys will be used to do the
following things.
1. Indent the line
2. Outdent the line
3. Insert a tab character
As long as the defined keys are unique and differ from TAB, no problem
will occur. Mapping a single key combination onto different actions
depending on the cursor's location-- the way CintaNotes currently
works with CTRL-TAB-- is a recipe for confusion; don't be like
Microsoft here!
I recommend the following modifiable defaults.
Indent: CTRL-. (i.e., CTRL plus ".")
Outdent: CTRL-, (i.e., CTRL plus ",")
Insert tab: CTRL-TAB
Alternatively, you could swap the current uses of TAB and CTRL-TAB,
so that CTRL-TAB moves to the next field (e.g., title, text, tags)."

#hashtag recognition and autotagging
I suggest adding a hashtag recognition autotagging rule. Very often I happen to clip something that has a #hashtag in it, like #books or something like that, sometimes several hashtags like #geography #lakes # holidays. It is tedious to create an autotagging rule each time, so CintaNotes could recognize a hashtag and autotag it. This feature could be custom. Thank you. PS. For reference, this feature was implemented in Rednotebook Portable on portableapps.com.
